At the last meeting, President Delia Tobin welcomed two new members.  Six members went to the Federation meeting in Drimoleague which was extremely well attended with most of the West Cork guilds represented.  The discussion was lively on ICA matters and the guest speakers talk on alcoholism and the effects on the family most enlightening.
The ladies who had spent a week’s holiday in Austria gave an account of their adventures.
For the St Patrick’s Day Parade the Guild theme was “There’s Life in the Old Girls Yet”.  The costumes produced, representing various sports, were hilarious and the two “lovely” cheer leaders were outstanding.
The next meeting will be the AGM on April 9th at 8pm in BARA House – all are welcome.
