It’s time for a fresh start!

With the Christmas stress behind you and a New Year full of possibilities ahead of you, this is the perfect time to take a fresh look at the contents of your wardrobe and make-up bag….
• Are you less than happy with what’s in your wardrobe?
•  Have you been wearing the same lipstick for years?
• Is your foundation never the right colour?
• Do you always end up buying black because it is safe?

Then treat yourself to a Colour Me Confident Course !
This 4 week course (starting this February) will show you how to leave your old ways behind and introduce simple changes that will make you feel like a new woman. By choosing colours and shapes that suit you and by wearing your clothes the right way, you will be amazed by how much your confidence will grow and how many compliments you will receive!
During this course we will also look at how to apply make-up, which hairstyle suits you best, what accessories will complement your look and the right eyewear for your face. An easy and fun way to change your look and change your life!

The power of looking good
Not convinced yet? A recent study in the UK showed unequivocally that women can use the way they look to affect how others perceive them.

The study explored whether 4 women would be evaluated differently on 4 social measures whether they were presented with or without make-up. Participants, 152 men and 171 women- were split into two groups and were presented with the women’s facial photographs either with or without make-up.

Women presented wearing make-up were perceived as healthier and more confident than when presented without. Participants also rewarded women wearing make-up with a greater earning potential and with more prestigious jobs than the same women without make-up.

The results suggest that women can successfully employ the way they look to influence how they are assessed, which is useful to be aware of.

Of course make-up is only part of the total package, wearing the right clothes and having the right attitude is just as important.
But the fact remains that the way you look has a huge influence on the impression you make and the way you are treated.

So, start 2008 on an extra positive note and book yourself some ‘ME’ time to find out how to look and feel fabulous!
