Bantry Theatre Group Starts Up What makes a play work? How does it feel to act a part on stage? What goes on behind the scenes? A new group has started up in Bantry and plans to explore all aspects of theatre from playwriting to performing. Participants will be learning together about set design, costumes, lighting, directing, stage management--all aspects of what goes in to staging a play, with a view to putting on a production along the way. The major requirements for everyone is to have fun in the process. Meetings are held every Monday evening from 8 to 9:30 pm at Organico Cafe and will involve warm-up exercises, improvisation games, and lots of learning. Anyone aged 14 and up is welcome. For further information, you can contact Sue Cooper at 086 170 5785.
